Nestled deep within the scenic Magaliesberg region one can find The Venue Country Hotel & Spa, a stunning retreat from the concrete jungle. Surrounded by majestic rolling hills and lush greenery found only in the Magalies’ area, the Hotel is truly a unique experience for stay over guests, day-time visitors and conference delegates alike.  The Venue Country Hotel & Spa is located along the popular Magaliesberg R512 route (Pelindaba Road) between Johannesburg and Hartbeespoort Dam.

A mere 10 minutes from Lanseria International Airport, luxury amenities and easy access to Johannesburg, Hartbeespoort, as well as the many internationally renowned attractions in the area, like Cradle of Human Kind and Lion & Safari Park.

The Hotel is also perfect for small to medium conferences or meetings, with 4 conference rooms and features an Auditorium that is ideal for product launches, media briefings and press conferences. Our Auditorium venue can host up to 120 delegates.

The Hotel also features Bakwena Day Spa on the property. The Spa is great for couples looking to relax after a stressful week. Bakwena Day Spa developed an innovative approach to treating both the body and mind through the creation of a relaxing, welcoming and enjoyable environment.

We have 64 pleasant standard bedrooms offering guests comfortable accommodation after a long day of conferencing or after a full day of exploring the nearby tourist attractions. Cool in the Summer months and warm during the colder season, these well-equipped bedrooms will ensure that each guest wakes up feeling well -rested and fully recharged, ready to start a new day. All rooms are non-smoking, smoking is allowed in designated areas.

Terrace Restaurant

Terrace Restaurant offers an inviting dining experience – offering wholesome lunches, superb breakfast spreads and a sumptuous A La Carte dinner menu. Our Restarant offers guests wholesome meals from breakfasts to dinners. There is hardly a taste bud that we can’t satisfy.

The Overflow Bar & Terrace

The Venue Country Hotel has two lovely bars with free wifi access. The outdoor bar is a perfect for indulging in mouth-watering dishes prepared by the chef. There is also a quaint ladies bar where guests can unwind with a glass of wine after a long day.

The Auditorium at The Venue Country Hotel is a offers clients privacy and is separate from any other activities taking place on the property. The Auditorium is the perfect venue for product launches, media briefings, press conferences, product launches and educational presentations-among others.

This terraced venue is set up so that each delegate has maximum views of the speaker or presentation below. It is also a well-equipped venue offering up-to-date audio-visual facilities. This venue can comfortably seat 120 delegates.

The White Room is a perfect venue for corporate, government conferences as well as educational and corporate seminars. This versatile venue can be arranged to suit your requirements. Conference Room One can seat up to 40 delegates in a theatre-style setup. This venue comes well equipped with up-to-date audiovisual equipment and wireless internet.

The Yellow Room is perfect for a large conference or educational groups. This venue can comfortably seat up to 60 delegates and has all the necessary audio-visual equipment including free WIFI connectivity. The venue is also highly versatile and our coordinators can set the venue to a layout that suits your requirements.

The four breakaway rooms which are situated along the main conferencing block of The Venue Country Hotel. They are all identical and offer the perfect space for intimate group discussions, interviews and/or private meetings. These rooms can be set up to your desired layout and can seat up to 20 people comfortable.

Harties Cableway

The Hartbeespoort Aerial Cableway (Harties Cableway), originally constructed in 1973, extends to the top of the Magaliesberg and offers panoramic views of the Magaliesberg, Hartbeespoort Dam and the surrounding area. It is situated 1km to the east of the town of Hartbeespoort in the North West Province and is the longest mono-cableway in Africa. The aerial cableway is open seven days a week.

Hartbeespoort Dam

Hartbeespoort Dam (also known as Harties) is an arch type dam situated in the North West Province of South Africa. It lies in a valley to the south of the Magaliesberg mountain range and north of the Witwatersberg mountain range, about 35 kilometres north-west of Johannesburg and 20 kilometres west of Pretoria.
