Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens

The Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens has become popularly known as the home to a breeding pair of Verreaux’s Eagles. In addition there are 220 varieties of birds and 600 plant species. Visitors to the Gardens can picnic on the well manicured lawns, go bird watching or hike through the various gardens. There are scheduled events that take place, such as carols by candle lights, afternoon concerts and astrological evenings.
